Dounia and Isabelle's challenge
The two Gazelles of Team 122 - DACIA, last year's winners in the Crossover class, are back: "We are competing this year in a Duster prototype, modified for 4WD." And they plan to rise to the challenge: "It's more than a challenge", explains Isabelle, "but it's the other teams that are under pressure - we're pretty relaxed. If we have a chance of winning, we won't slow down!"
David Casteu and Eric Loizeau - Team 400
Speaking with the "Gazous": David Casteu, motorcycle rally champion, and Eric Loizeau, navigator. They make up the only men's team of the Rallye (Team 400). "The Rallye des Gazelles is really very difficult, despite all of our experience. We have real problems navigating. We have been relying on GPS for a long time in both racing and navigation. The women who tackle this adventure without any experience have a lot of courage!".
