Philosophy

Welcome to the world’s only 100% female off-road rally-raid

Here, there’s no GPS, no phone, no speed: just a map, a compass… and unwavering determination.

Since 1990, women from all walks of life have set off into the Moroccan desert to experience a unique adventure. They’re not racing against time, but toward a freer, stronger, bolder version of themselves.

This isn’t a race.
It’s a course to be held, an extraordinary competition.

An old-fashioned way of sailing, where every detour is chosen, every decision assumed.
An instinctive adventure where you have to face doubt, fatigue, silence… and truly listen to yourself.

Each woman charts her own course—on the sand, on the map, but also in her own life—and becomes a “Gazelle”.

Created in 1989 by Dominique Serra, an exceptional woman committed to women, the Rally embodies courage and support for all women.

The Rally

In brief

  • Women between 18 and 71 years old, novices or experienced adventurers
  • Choices to make, courses to hold, obstacles, laughter… and sometimes tears
  • A human experience and a return to the essential, far from the screens
  • Morocco as a welcoming land, under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
  • A 35th anniversary in 2026

An accessible adventure

Far from the clichés of extreme competition, the Rally is designed for everyone, whether athletic or not, experienced or beginner. No barriers, whether social, physical, or technical, prevent participation.

Thanks to caring supervision, suitable logistics and a spirit of sisterhood, this challenge becomes possible, human and revealing.

A pride, a mission

    • The only rally certified ISO 14001, , for its environmental commitment
    • A concrete solidarity action with the Cœur de Gazelles

association

  • A spirit of transmission, respect and transformation, generation after generation

More than a rally:
a declaration

Here, you become the actress of your adventure..

Each dune crossed is like a silent cry:

“I am here. I decide. I choose my path.”

What you experience here has meaning — for you, for others, for all those who will follow.
