History of the rally

35 years ago, the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc was born,
driven by an idea that is both simple and profoundly revolutionary:
Women deserve a space to dare, to surpass themselves, to reveal themselves.

Dominique Serra imagined this rally against the current.
She instilled her conviction, her vision, and this unshakeable faith in the strength of women.

In a world where motor sports were still a male bastion, this Rally established itself as a response.
Not to prove anything. But to offer a free territory, where women finally take the wheel of their own story.

A 100% female rally.
A space where we feel legitimate, together, supported, powerful.
A place where competition becomes mutual support. Where we move forward with others, never against them.

From the start, this Rally was not just a sporting challenge.
It was an act of emancipation. A platform for freedom. A mirror of all that women can accomplish when given the space.
It is an act of sisterhood. An act of hope.
So go for it!
Draw. Breathe. Engage!
And when you get back, don’t be discreet.
Be proud. Be loud. Be contagious.

Today, if this Rally celebrates its 35th anniversary, it is not because it lasts.
This is because it continues, every year, to awaken something indelible in all those who dare to participate.
