22 years ago, Maïenga decided to take responsible action with a commitment to quality in creating the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc.
With its unique concept involving eco-driving without excess speed, based on traditional navigation without GPS and for women only, the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc was the precursor to a new vision for auto rallies.
In our constant quest for quality, the environment has always been one of our main areas of focus. In 2010, the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc became the first auto rally in the world to obtain international environmental certification (ISO 14001:2004).
The same approach has led us to apply our expertise and professionalism to two other unique events: the Students Challenge (currently in its 5th year) and the Cap Femina Aventure (2d edition in 2012).
Our priorities have always been safety (for both participants and organizers alike) and respect for the local populations. For us, quality is more important than quantity. Therefore, we do not want to risk our events becoming mass-produced rally-raids – we prefer them to remain the best.
For this new 2012-2013 season, Maïenga would like to affirm the values it has always upheld - quality, respect for Morocco and its people, safety, the human conscience, environmental and social responsibility - by announcing a limit of 150 team vehicles per event.
