Car Manufacturers and Media Relay
A concept created by the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc, giving rise to a special ranking within the event. Car manufacturers and media organizations join together and race for the humanitarian cause of their choice.
The winning team wins a €15,000 donation for its humanitarian organization.
This year’s CMR Challenge winners were Marie Ménager and Pénélope Richard, Team M6/ISUZU/ ENFANTS-SOLEIL. The prize will be presented on September 2d at the Hôtel des Ministres in Bercy, Paris. Enfant Soleil helps to provide health care and education for deprived children, and supports sustainable development projects aimed at helping the underprivileged. Bravo to the M6/ISUZU Gazelles!

Maïenga has signed up to the 10:10 Campaign !
Maïenga and the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc have signed up to the 10:10 Campaign (www.1010global.org), a voluntary global campaign uniting all sectors of society, based on the idea that everyone can make a difference: individuals, businesses, schools, organizations… This is a proactive initiative whose goal is to reduce emissions by 10% in a 12 month period starting in 2010, or as much as possible within the given time. You, too, can join the 10:10 Campaign!

Dear future Gazelles, sign up now for the next edition of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc, which will take place from March 19th to April 2nd, 2011.

Official results of the 20th edition
The final results emerge after the 6th leg of competition. The winners in each category are as follows:
4x4/Truck Class - Team 125 Christine LALOUE and Claudine AMAT (Domaine Serge Laloue) with a total 216.94 km.
Quad/Moto Class - Team 23 Betty KRAFT and Anne MOISANS (Polaris France), with a total of 180.42 km.
Crossover Class - Franco-Moroccan Team 315 Isabelle CHARLES and Dounia BENNANI (Dacia) with a total of 923.04 km.
The rankings are determined by adding the kilometres (the difference between the actual distance driven and the "as the crow flies" distance of each route) and any penalties earned (converted into kilometres) for missing CPs, calling for assistance etc.
