VIDEO PRODUCTION of the ORGANIZATION
1 production director, 10 cameramen, 2 journalistes and 7 editors ensure the daily production of material that will be sent off to Canada, Europe, Morocco... by satellite. This team works in close collaboration with the television channels on location to develop a pool of "free access" images.
All images are produced and transmitted in XD CAM, top-of-the-line format for today’s televisions.
Each day a helicopter and 10 4WD vehicles collect images at the heart of the action. Every evening, at the bivouac, in the air-conditioned and sand-proof video room.
PHOTO PRODUCTION of the ORGANIZATION
7 photographers provide daily photo coverage of the event.
All photos are in digital format. The image bank is integrated into a database. Any photo requested by a journalist is available in just minutes. The high-speed satellite connection at the bivouac and the digital format allow an immediate transfer of images, ensuring that up-to-date images are always available for the daily news.
A team of technicians sorts, classifies and indexes over a thousand photos every day.
