Media facilities are provided for your comfort at the event: 18 Press vehicles, press room, video editing studio, press information centre, daily image bank (video and photo).

VIDEO PRODUCTION of the ORGANIZATION

7 cameramen, 1 journalist, 5 editors and 1 production director ensure the daily production of material that will be sent off to Canada, Europe, Morocco... by satellite. This team works in close collaboration with the television channels on location to develop a pool of "free access" images.
All images are produced and transmitted in XD CAM, top-of-the-line format for today’s televisions.
Each day a helicopter and 7 4WD vehicles collect images at the heart of the action. Every evening, at the bivouac, in the air-conditioned and sand-proof video room.

PHOTO PRODUCTION of the ORGANIZATION

7 photographers provide daily photo coverage of the event.
All photos are in digital format. The image bank is integrated into a database. Any photo requested by a journalist is available in just minutes.  The high-speed satellite connection at the bivouac and the digital format allow an immediate transfer of images, ensuring that up-to-date images are always available for the daily news.
A team of technicians sorts, classifies and indexes over a thousand photos every day.

The teams’ progress can be followed “live” on the Rallye website, thanks to a transmitter installed on each vehicle that sends its position via satellite.
Regular "Rallye bulletins" are produced to keep up to date with events at the Rallye.
3 journalists, 1 coordinator and 4 technicians ensure live coverage of the competition.
Each day the rankings are posted on-line, as well as a complete summary of the day’s leg including photos and video.
Every day, a "news bulletin" is sent out to those who sign up on the mailing list.
