Speaking with the Gazelles

A basic principle: Sharing and Solidarity

The Rallye des Gazelles is not just a sports competition: it is also about solidarity and sharing. And that can already be felt on the boat.
So while Brigitte of Team 165 is "trying to do what the old Gazelles did for me in 2009" by sharing tips that can usually only be learned out in the field,  Teams 114 and 322 are hanging onto her every word: "We weren't expecting so much communication between Gazelles, we are a team of 2, but we feel well supported by the old Gazelles and the organization", explain Evelyne and Nadine, Team 322. That is what we call the famous Gazelle spirit!

From sandy beach to sandy desert

Last September Sandrine Chazelas et Elodie Provansal decided to become Gazelles. The two lifeguards enjoy facing new challenges, and it shows: within one short week, they created an organization, put together a promotional document, and approached their first potential sponsors. And the bet paid off: in just 6 months the two friends became Team 190 at the start line of an event that will allow them to "move up to a higher level". "We are here to surpass out limitrs, to push ourselves to the point where the mind takes over", explains Elodie, member of this team whose originality can be seen in the surfboard fixed to the roof of their vehicle! Listen to their story (in French only).

Pinning everything that moves

Nobody is safe: little pink ribbons are appearing on Marithé et François Girbaud vests everywhere. The source: Anne-Sarah GRUNENWALD and Maryline BARBE of Team 173 - ISUZU / COTE SANTE / ASSOCIATION CEW, who go by the name of "7 billion breasts in our hands"...
