When it came to designing a theme for the vehicle's wrap, the drawings of Eugène Delacroix from his Album d'Afrique du Nord et d'Espagne, made during his voyage to Morocco in 1832, quickly became the obvious choice.
"It was a lot of work to prepare the truck, get authorizations to use Delacroix's drawings, find a sponsor for the wrap... but working with Delacroix's art gave us a real sense of Morocco, of following in his footsteps, amidst all the colours that had such a profound influence on his work", explain the Gazelles.
