Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles

Leg 2 - Friday March 25th

MECH IRDANE / NEIJAKH – ideal distance 175 km – minimum time 11:50

This leg presents no major challenge in terms of navigation, apart from a stretch at the beginning that will prove tough in spite of clear landmarks.
Then the terrain levels out, and the Gazelles can get up to cruising speed across wide plains.

The end of leg will take them into some slightly alarming mountains in search of a last tricky CP.
As an added bonus, a return to the Neijakh bivouac against a backdrop of dunes: Erg Chebbi, lit up by the setting sun! The Gazelles’ "promised land" for the days to come...
