Speaking with the Gazelles

Gazelles from Cameroon

Veronique and Aretha (Team 143 – Total E&P Cameroun) reached the new bivouac in El Fecht around 08:30 this morning, relieved to be back. Veronique is smiling as she prepares to leave again for today's special "carte blanche" leg: "Mentally we are fine, and physically as well… we were able to get some rest. Now I need to have a quick shower!" The two Gazelles from Cameroon clearly found the marathon leg to be an intense experience; Veronique is more emotional as she adds: "You can learn a lot here, about what you are able to do. I still don't know how I managed to find my way back here… in the dark!" Bravo, and good luck with today's leg!

The team with the smallest 4x4 in the 2010 edition

Team 183 call themselves "The Belgian Team" (the only one this year), even though Dorothée, who has been living in Belgium for ten years, is actually French!
Like two harlequins, Dorothée ("the Gazelle with the 'camel grass' haircut, sic!) et France ("A well-chosen name for a girl from Belgium!") are not lacking in energy or humour when they talk about their presence at the Rallye...
