Since 2002, Gazelles, vehicle manufacturers and media organizations have been teaming up to support various humanitarian causes.
The concept was created by the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc and gives rise to a special ranking within the event (in addition to the general ranking).
This year, WAVE (Women And Vehicles in Europe) is a proud partner of this challenge, which has been renamed the Wave Media Relay.
The teams taking on this challenge will have two tasks:
- To raise awareness of the charity organization of their choice by giving voice to its messages and actions in the media; they also have the possibility of winning a generous donation of 15,000 euros for their cause;
- To represent the media organization that will provide this visibility by being the best ambassador possible and by placing well in the special "Wave Relay Media" challenge.

It is with great pleasure and a great honor that the Board of Ethics of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles in Morocco welcomes sir Frédéric Lefebvre, Member of the French Parliament and Deputy of the First Constituency for French Residents Residing Overseas. He expressed himself through a video that was presented at a conference in Canada on September 22nd and in San Diego on September 25th.

He told to Dominique Serra: "I'm amazed by the work you do, and it takes a lot to amaze me!"
Dominique Serra dedicates this award to past, present and future Gazelles, to all participants of our events, and to the organizers and partners without whom this event could not exist.

decided to take responsible action with a commitment to quality in creating the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc
With its unique concept involving eco-driving
without excess speed, based on traditional navigation without GPS and for women only, the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc was the precursor to a new vision for auto rallies
In our constant quest for quality, the environment has always been one of our main areas of focus. In 2010, the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc became the first auto rally in the world to obtain international environmental certification (ISO 14001:2004).
The same approach has led us to apply our expertise and professionalism to two other unique events: the Students Challenge
(currently in its 6th year) and the Cap Femina Aventure
(3d edition in 2013).
Our priorities have always been safety
(for both participants and organizers alike) and respect for the local populations. For us, quality is more important than quantity
. Therefore, we do not want to risk our events becoming mass-produced rally-raids – we prefer them to remain the best.
For this new 2013-2014 season
, Maïenga would like to affirm the values it has always upheld - quality, respect for Morocco and its people, safety, the human conscience, environmental and social responsibility - by announcing a limit of 150 team vehicles per event
